The idea

A venue is booked. A place is given.

Villa Harman sits where Blagaj's history is thickest — inside the old Čaršija, beneath a fortress whose origins reach back to late antiquity and which gave Bosnia its last queen, beside a mosque and a tekke that have stood here for five hundred years. Fig trees, olive groves, and the Buna river surround the house on every side.

A real home from the early 1900s — old stone, modern comfort — reserved for one wedding at a time. No shared slots, no banquet hall.

Guests wander freely between garden, terrace, and pool, with the old town and the river as their view. Children play in the open lawn while the celebration carries on around them. Everyone feels at home — because, for the day, it is home.

Our story

The first wedding here was our own.

In 2025 we were married in this garden, under these trees, surrounded by the people we love. It was the day we had always pictured — unhurried, personal, and entirely ours.

Afterwards we kept hearing the same thing: there was nowhere else quite like it. So we opened our home. Everything we learned planning our own wedding now goes into yours — which is why we look after every detail ourselves, the way we would for family.
